Mehidy Hasan Miraz wins ICC men's player of the month award for April 2025

Bangladesh's Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed the ICC Men's Player of the Month award for April 2025, beating Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarabani and Ben Sears. This marks his first Player of the Month honor, making him the third Bangladeshi after Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan to receive this recognition.The 27-year-old all-rounder demonstrated exceptional performance in the Test series against Zimbabwe, accumulating 116 runs at an average of 38.66 and capturing 15 wickets at an impressive average of 11.86 across two Tests."It's an incredible honour to win the ICC Men's Player of the Month.
