Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma have been making headlines following their divorce. The couple, whose love story was once adored by fans, officially parted ways on February 20, citing 'compatibility issues' as the reason for their separation.
Dhanashree, who was a contestant on
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 11, received support from Yuzvendra when he made a guest appearance on the show. One of the most memorable moments occurred during a fun game segment hosted by Rithvik Dhanjani and Gauahar Khan.
During the game, Yuzvendra and Dhanashree took turns guessing words written on placards. When Dhanashree held up a placard with the word 'Diamond,' Yuzvendra playfully hinted, “The thing that you demand every time.” A surprised Dhanashree asked, “What?” leaving Gauahar Khan in shock.
As Dhanashree struggled to guess, Yuzvendra elaborated, “Whenever we fight, you always demand something.” Thinking aloud, Dhanashree guessed, “Say sorry?” but failed to identify the correct word in time. When she finally saw ‘Diamond’ written on the placard, she looked stunned and questioned Yuzvendra about when she had ever demanded one. Yuzvendra’s presence on the show was well-received, with judge Farah Khan teasing him about seeking dance lessons from Dhanashree.
