"Nushrratt Bharuccha Opens Up About Limited Role Opportunities"
Nushrratt Bharuccha is known for her strong performances in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Dream Girl, and Chhorii. She's always open to trying different roles. However, fans often wonder why she isn't seen in more films. In a recent interview, Nushrratt revealed that, unlike star kids, she hasn’t received enough opportunities in Bollywood.
A Friend’s Question Left Her Speechless
Nushrratt Bharuccha is busy promoting her upcoming film Chhorii 2. In a recent interview with Shubhankar Mishra, she shared a surprising moment. A close friend, who is a producer and writer, once asked her why she wasn’t getting more film offers. His question left her stunned and speechless. Nushrratt admitted she doesn’t know the reason herself.

Star Kids Have an Edge, Says Nushrratt
Nushrratt Bharuccha, who began her career in 2010 alongside Sonakshi Sinha and Shraddha Kapoor, reflected on the difference in their career growth. She pointed out that star kids have a clear advantage, as they or their families already know people in the industry. She said, “They can reach places I can’t. They can knock on doors I don’t even know exist. It’s a very practical but real issue.”

Struggles of an Outsider
In the same interview, Nushrratt Bharuccha shared that after Pyaar Ka Punchnama, she wanted to reach out to a filmmaker but didn’t have his number. She eventually contacted Kabir Khan, who kindly responded and agreed to meet. Nushrratt acknowledged that while she avoids calling others "nepo kids," insiders have easier access. Despite the challenges, she feels grateful to work with filmmakers like Luv Ranjan, Hansal Mehta, and Vishal Furia, who trusted her talent and chose to collaborate with her again.
