‘L2: Empuraan’ landmark announcement! Mystery star and 'big reveal' teased as Mohanlal-starrer sparks excitement among fans

The expectations surrounding Mohanlal’s much-awaited film ‘L2: Empuraan’ are sky-high, fueling ongoing speculations among cinema lovers.

Adding to the excitement, the director Prithviraj Sukumaran has now dropped a new hint. The actor shared a mysterious poster, along with the announcement that a landmark revelation will be made on March 18.
The newly revealed poster features a silhouette of a person holding guns in both hands, but the face remains hidden. Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Instagram caption read, “Stay tuned for a landmark announcement! Tomorrow 6pm IST. Malayalam | Tamil | Hindi | Telugu | Kannada #March27.”

Fans are now eagerly debating—Is it Mohanlal himself, or could it be another major star? The suspense has only intensified the buzz around Empuraan. There are also speculations that the superstar Mammootty will be playing a pivotal role in the film.

Prithviraj also shared a picture alongside Thalaivar Rajinikanth and penned a note saying that the superstar has watched the trailer for ‘Empuraan’. Prithvuraj’s note read, “The very first person to watch the trailer of #L2E #EMPURAAN I will forever cherish what you said after watching it Sir! This meant the world to me! Fanboy forever! @rajinikanth #OGSuperstar.” With this latest post, there are chances that the makers will be revealing the trailer for ‘L2: Empuraan’ on March 18 at 6 pm.
Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and penned by Murali Gopy, Empuraan is set for a grand global release on March 27. The film will be a pan-Indian spectacle.
Meanwhile, before stepping into the universe of ‘Empuraan’, the audiences will get to witness the first part ‘Lucifer’ in theatres on March 20. The re-release of the action drama movie was announced on the last day.
On the other hand, Mohanlal's previous outing was the fantasy film 'Barroz' which turned out to be a flop.
