A tragic road accident on the Bhopal-Jabalpur highway in Raisen district claimed the lives of six individuals early Monday morning. A Tempo Traveler, carrying nine passengers, crashed into a culvert and plunged into a ditch near Bandar Wali Pulya.

BHOPAL: Six people died in a road accident on the Bhopal-Jabalpur road in Raisen district on Monday morning.
The incident occurred between 6.30 and 7.00 am near Bandar Wali Pulya.
According to reports, a Tempo Traveler first collided with a culvert and then plunged into a ditch. There were a total of nine people in the vehicle. Three people, including the bride and groom, sustained serious injuries in the accident.
Police confirmed that two women, a girl, and three men died on the spot.
Initial investigations suggest that the accident occurred because the driver fell asleep at the wheel.
The vehicle was traveling from Jabalpur to Indore. The injured were given first aid at Sultanpur Hospital and later referred to Raisen District Hospital for further treatment.
All the passengers were residents of Indore and were returning from Bihar after a wedding ceremony.
